Boise Spanish Academy

Boise, Idaho, is consistently being recognized for everything the beautiful city has to offer. It is the state’s capital and the most populous city in Idaho. In addition, out of its 204,027 residents, 13,476 are of Hispanic or Latino descent while 6,329 speak Spanish at home.

Even though the Hispanic population in Boise is less than 10 percent, there is still a thriving Hispanic community in the city and all over Idaho. There is much to see and do in the city that celebrates Hispanic and Latino culture, and much of it is targeted to children specifically. One example of an activity that children can get involved in is the Cultural Triathlon, hosted by the Boise Public Library. This summer-long activity is meant to immerse children and adults in various cultural experiences.

Boise is a culturally diverse city and boasts an impressive Hispanic community, which are two reasons for getting your child involved in the Spanish language. Why do you want your child to speak Spanish? Use the form to the right to share your concerns with us.
